Thus far...

Here I am, two months on....
This may be one of the most exhausting periods of my life so far, so much university work to do which im kind of pushing aside stupidly, lots of hours at my new work, loads of voluntary hours, and a bursting social life which is hitting my wallet hard.
Im trying to enjoy my final semester but my body feels like its telling me to relax whilst my mind doesnt want to rest.

procrastination....etc

so i started this blog today... when i was supposed to be revising... looks like i will be up all night trying to finish my to-do list!
my main reason for starting this blog is because i wanted some place i could record my day-to-day life... and in the modern age, where better than on the interwebs where the whole world can see it too?!

so a brief introduction (btw you may notice.. i really can't be bothered being anal with my grammar, plus i think capital letters are kinda ugly, no?)

anyway, im 20 years young, no idea where the time is going, life is just going far too fast! im a student in the final year of a sociology degree, which will hopefully lead to me gaining a career in marketing, although this is subject to change as in the past year i've wanted to be a teacher, a policewoman, a social worker, a prison tutor, a youth worker... etc.
im currently unemployed although i've had jobs doing all sorts in the past, hoping after my 2nd interview next week i may bag a job in a shoe shop (fingers and toes crossed...). i do alot of voluntary work in my spare time though which i would reccommend everyone got into, so rewarding, so much fun, gives you so many skills etc... i could go on and on (infact one of my volunteering roles is to get people involved in voluntary services, if you couldnt tell?!). i also fundraise for various cancer charities!

moving on.... i enjoy retail therapy, pubs, bars, dancing, gin and tonic, yorkshire tea, false nails, my doggies and kitty.... so much i could go on about but i dont want to give too much away about me!

 i lovelovelove travel. its my biggest passion, ive been blessed with parents who are always telling me to go and see the world, my highlights; backpacking in australia, safari in kenya, northern lights in iceland, sunbathing in the carribbean, city breaks aplenty in europe, roadtripping through california, visiting the crocs in florida etc... im always planning new trips, it keeps me going!

anyway, enough rambling for one day... i really should revise!

Just a quick post to say 'hey'! I've decided to start up a blog this year mainly to use it as a way for me to keep a record of what I get up to, I want to make some changes in my life and I think this is a good way to make sure I follow through with them, they do say making things public means you're more likely to make lifelong changes... Im going to do another post later today with an intro to who I am and what Im about.
